@ajcke - Part of the reason we developed the NextGEN Pro Lightbox was to help with "responsive" displays ... of the basic bundled standard Lightbox effects libraries you will have to decide which suits your needs best as each has its own issues depending on how you view responsive and the needs of the site itself.
