SweetMewsic on "Animated Responsive Image Grid"

Can anyone tell me if there is a WordPress theme or plugin that creates an animated responsive image grid? I am not a programmer, but I would love to create a home page grid such as the one on the website http://lindsi.com. I found some jQuery code that seems to do this at http://tympanus.net/codrops/2012/08/02/animated-responsive-image-grid/ but I have no idea how to implement this on a WordPress website. If a theme or plugin with this feature already exists, where could I purchase it?

Thanks for any help you can give me.

I've disabled all plugins and my site is still not showing up as responsive on my phone. Instead it is just filling the screen with a desktop version.

Here is the URL

How do I fix this

Hi dakar2dhaka. If you start with the default responsive.css, you should be able to achieve what you're after by changing the set points on two media queries.

In this query change (min-width: 480px) to (min-width: 200px):

/* ------------------------------------------------------------------------- *
 *  Toggle Sidebar s1 : 960px > 480px
/* ------------------------------------------------------------------------- */
@media only screen and (min-width: 480px) and (max-width: 960px) {

In this one change (max-width: 479px) to (max-width: 199px):

/* ------------------------------------------------------------------------- *
 *  Mobile (Low Res) : 479px > 0 (320px)
/* ------------------------------------------------------------------------- */
@media only screen and (max-width: 479px) {

Can someone provide with me some CSS or HTML code to prevent my responsive site from going all the way to mobile view. I would like it to stop scaling down at 2 columns instead of forcing everything into 1.

I've noticed when scaling down my browser it shifts down to what I would assume would be an ipad size screen and then an iphone screen at it's smallest screen size. I would like it to display at the ipad size screen on mobile at all times instead of a single image taking up the entire width of the screen. It's stacking everything vertically and I am wanting to avoid this.

If you knew how to fix this I would love to hear how you would solve it..

Hmmm not sure about a free web server, but I assume you'll need one eventually?

You can send screenshots to support@generatepress.com (just mention this topic).

Hi,

thanks for your post, and sorry for the trouble.

Can you maybe provide a screenshot here? I don't have an iPhone or iPad available to test at the moment :-( Thanks!

Regards,
Tobias

Hi,

thanks! I think this is simply caused by zooming. Basically, the table would be too wide for the screen, so that the browser zooms out to show all of it. Then however, the footer (which fits in the original size) is also zoomed out.

You could maybe try the scroll mode from the Responsive Tables Extension from https://tablepress.org/extensions/responsive-tables/
That could maybe prevent the zooming.

Tobias

I've created a widget-area on the homepage. Client can put in text and images. But the images are not responsive in any way. Even if I put % in stead of fixed height/width values in.

Any tips/ideas?

Thanks!
Piet

I have used your slider on several sites, and on one where the original Cyclone Slider is on, I installed Cyclone Slider 2, activated it and my slider on the front page doesn't show and has this message...

[Template "responsive" not found]

I was able to verify that my old sliders still existed, obviously it was to take over for the original Cyclone Slider. What happened here?
